About AACS

The Association of Australian Cotton Scientists was formed in September 2012.
Membership of the association is made up of scientists, professionals and students involved in Australian cotton research.

The association aims to:

  • act as a representative body to promote and enhance cotton research as a profession;
  • facilitate communication between scientists and encourage collaboration and integration across agencies and disciplines;
  • act as a point of contact between scientists, Australian cotton industry bodies and with the International Cotton Researchers Association;
  • develop a cotton research conference, foster linkages with extension, and encourage the involvement of students with the Association.

Automatic membership is included with any full or student registration at the Australian Cotton Research Conference, but can be obtained at other times by filling in the membership form and sending to:
